It has been more than 40 years since a Negro has appeared on the national horizon of racial leadership with a program for his people as controversial and as clear-cut as that of Elijah Muhammad. not since the days of Marcus Garvey, the West Indian visionary back in 1920, has an "either or else" plan of Negro salvation been placed before the people that is as sharply outlined as to consequences as that of Muhammad.
